My work in web development

Brief Overview

After several courses in Web development, I worked with the .Net technologies for a while. In 2009, I switched to the open source PHP, MySQL and the TYPOLight CMS.

Besides having a specific interest in the technologies involved in webdesign, I have a more general curiosity in how all these technologies affect the way we live, work and communicate. I have begun a blog called MyTechcorner in november 2008 to share my ideas about these and other, more technically oriented, subjects.

JavaScript

In order to learn some JavaScript, I made two games: Tetris and Sudoku (which uses pictures instead of numbers). You can view the gallery or play the games by clicking on the previous links.

Work in ASP.Net

In 2008, I undertook the task of writing a .Net CMS in Visual Basic with an Access database. I got a working version, though it was only implemented once. I abandoned this project due to the fact that it was too labor intensive. It is more effective to use an open source CMS and write your own extensions.
Nevertheless, it was an educational project. Here are some screenshots with an explanation of its functionality:
